Daily Announcements Wednesday, May 23, 2018

Sideline cheer tryout sign ups and information packets are in the office. Come grab a packet and sign up. Tryouts start Tuesday, May, 29th.

Remember how much fun you had at sixth grade camp?  Wouldn't you love to go back and relive it, and be a part of the fun for next year's sixth graders?  Application information is now in the high school office for students interested in being sixth grade camp counselors.  Applications are due Wednesday, June 6.  Thank you, we couldn't offer this experience to our students without your support!

There will be no school on Monday, May 28, 2018 for Memorial Day.  School will resume Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 8 :00 a.m.

Sophomores & Juniors:  There will be representative for SMCSI at Onsted on Wednesday, May 23rd  in the Auditeria for students that are interested in attending next year.  This program is similar to the Tech Center, in Hudson, and offers programs in Mechatronics and Engineering.  See Mr. Scholz if interested in attending the meeting.



Attn Key Club:  just a reminder  that flag placement (for Memorial Day) will be on May 24, 2018.  Students involved are the following:  Dakota Vanderhorst, Kylie Basak, Keturah Fustay, Carson Kiss, Gabby England.

Just a reminder that all students must follow the high school dress code.


Summer school information can be picked up in guidance office.




After school Math Tutoring is available on Tuesdays in Mrs. Stark's room, Wednesdays in Mr. Gemalsky's room and Thursdays in Ms. Sinkovitz's room.  All are welcome.


The after school lab in Mr. Terryberry's room will now be open after school Monday through Thursday.

Mr. Wobrock's classroom is available to anyone that needs to come in before school to work on homework or projects Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m.


Any girl interested in attending the Onsted Lady Wildcat Basketball skills camp from June 11 - 14th please pick up a registration form in the office. Completed forms are due back to Coach Arnold by June 1st.


Boys Varsity Basketball posters are available in the high school office, $5 each.


The fitness center is open to any student after school that is in 7th grade or older.

Seniors may pick up cap and gown in the main office when senior checkout list is completed and turned in to the main office.

Seniors:  Remember that MANDATORY GRADUATION PRACTICE will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. in the gym. Donuts will be served at 8:45 a.m. in the cafeteria. 


Do you have what it takes to be on Student Council?  Do you have ideas that would benefit the entire student body? Everyone is a leader of some kind…but do you have what it takes to be a leader at OHS? Class officer & student council representative applications for next school year are available in the main office. The deadline for returning a completed application is this Friday, May 18th.

Onsted Community Schools Sports Physicals will be held Saturday, May 19th, 2018 from 8a.m.- 12:00 p.m. in the high school gym.  Cost is $15 for all middle & high school student athletes.  Any questions see Athletic trainer Lizzy Landa or the athletic office.  

Looking for community service hours?  Need volunteer experience for college applications?  Help is needed for the Onsted Community Schools Sports Physicals.  See athletic trainer Lizzy Landa for more information.

This religious service is a time for the community to honor the graduates as they reflect on their achievements and plans for the future.
