Daily Announcements Friday, May 24, 2019



There will be no school on Monday, May 27, 2019 due to Memorial Day.  School resumes on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at 8:00 a.m.


Honors Assembly for underclassmen will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2019.  We will be on the Purple 1-Hour Morning Assembly Schedule.  Students will report to their 1st hour at 8:00 a.m., then be dismissed following announcements.  AM tech bus leaves at 9:00 a.m. and AM students will be school related for 1st hour.  PM tech students will eat A lunch, bus will leave at 11:50 a.m. and PM students will be school related for 4th hour.


Attention all students who signed up for AP classes for next fall. There will be a required meeting Thursday, May 30th in the auditeria after morning announcements.  The only students not required to attend are those enrolled for AP History course. All others are expected to be there.  The meeting will last about 20 minutes. 




The International Club would like to congratulate the following officers for the 2019-2020 school year.

There will be an information meeting about the 2020 trip to Montreal and Quebec City Thursday May 30th in room 125 at 7:00 pm.  It is open to all Onsted students.  Please see Ms Eddinger for more details.

2019 Yearbooks are for sale. First come first serve. Come to Ms. Verville’s room (146) to purchase your yearbook while supplies last. Cost is $75.00.

Any boy entering grades 9th-12th next year interested in playing soccer in the fall,  signup sheet is now in the high school office.

 Lady Wildcat Basketball camp forms are now available in the high school office.  The forms are due back May 24. Camp will be June 10-13 from 3:15-5:00 in the HS Gym.



HS boys interested in playing basketball this summer stop down to Mr. Maska’s office before or after school and grab a Camp form and summer schedule. 




Math Tutoring is available on the following days this week from 3-4 p.m. for any student that needs help:  Tuesday in Mrs. Stark's room #130, Wednesday in Ms. Gorsuch's room #148 and Thursdain Ms. Fredrich's room #112.

Seniors:  Just a reminder that all graduating seniors must attend the MANDATORY GRADUATION PRACTICE Thursday, May 23, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. in the high school gym.  Please bring your gown to wear during the walk through at the elementary following the practice.   Donuts will be served beginning at 8:45 a.m. 


All seniors must arrive at 6:15 p.m. on Friday, May 24, 2019 and report to the library for Graduation ceremony.

Friday, May 17, 2019 will be seniors last day of school.  Exams will be held during regular class periods and AM and PM tech will be at regular scheduled times.



Mystery Hill in Irish Hills is accepting applications for part-time summer employment.  They are seeking applicants who are energetic, dependable, and works well with public.  Transportation is a must.  Job entails giving upbeat tours through the gravity house, ticket sales, and gift shop sales.  Applications are currently available at Top O' the Hill Party Store, located at 5138 Michigan Ave, Tipton and Mystery Hill, 7611 Michigan Ave, Onsted on Saturday, May 18th and Sunday, May 19 from Noon to 2 pm.  Stop in the office for more details.
